Nursing Cover - Bye Bye Hooter Hiders, Hello Bebe Au Lait

When I first came across this nursing cover weeks ago, I thought to myself what a great idea this is. The product allows new moms to breastfeed her baby in public without letting "it" all hang out, thereby avoiding the embarassment for herself (or really for passers-by). However, with a name like "Hooter Hiders", I wasn't quite sure how to pitch the product to my wife. Fast forward to now, the company has since changed the product's name to Bebe au Lait nursing cover - much more appealing, wouldn't you say!

The product, designed by two "MLS soccer wife" moms, is available in a variety of stylish, fun patterns. It folds up compactly and fits easily in diaper bags without adding a lot of bulk. It also eliminates the need to spend extra money on expensive and often unattractive nursing tops (dads can't complain!). In addition, the nursing cover can serve as a light blanket, a drape across the front of the stroller or even as a wipe cloth to clean to spit ups, drools and other baby-related oopsies.
