Calla High Chair by Yves Behar for Fleurville

Calla Chair by Yves Behar for Fleurville

If ever there was a flower that symbolizes modern aesthetics, the simple yet elegant Calla Lily is it. The new Calla Chair by Yves Behar for Fleurville, introduced at the ICFF, takes inspiration from the dynamic beauty and fluid form of the flower and is a stark contrast to the Scandinavian wooden high chair options in the market.

While some may think the visually striking, ergonomic Calla chair is a big leap for a diaper bag company, Fleurville founder Steve Granville believes it is a logical extension of the company's “essential designs for modern parenting” principle.

Sorry folks - this $875 chair is not available until October 2006. In the meantime, we can all meet up for a drool fest over at Calla Chair's website.

I looked at this post and wanted the high chair right away! But, then I saw the price and am going to have to wait for the IKEA knock off. So cool but way too much money!
