Iglooplay - Children Furniture Design Driven by Creativity and Play

With the goal of creating kiddie furniture that appeals to both children and adults alike, Brooklyn-based designer, Lisa Albin, came up with Iglooplay. All awards aside (which there are plenty of), the Iglooplay collection is fun, fun, fun, cleverly combining organic forms with modern materials such as bent plywood and soft, upholstered foam. The rocking chair looks so inviting and visually appealing that one wishes it comes in larger sizes (for us adults, that is). The Tea Pods, meanwhile, are an imaginative, sculptural system where the pieces can be flipped and arranged into a stool, side table, bench, ottoman, lounger or play object.
